Arika will begin student teaching in the Spring of 2012. She has worked as a social worker in child protection services in Alaska and has spent the past two years as an adoption home study writer. Arika is fascinated by the psychology of education and hopes to pursue a PhD in Educational Psychology in the future. For now, three boys at home and the acquisition of certification for teaching are a full time endeavor.
Annie has worked in a classroom as a Mental Health Assistant. She comes from a family of educators and is excited to start working with children again after a six year hiatus in the financial world. Annie will begin her student teaching in the Fall of 2012.
Brenda is scheduled to do her Student Teaching in the Spring of 2013. She is currently working at a private school as the Spanish Teacher K-6 and as a Teacher Aid for K-2.
Elan
Erica has two years of experience as a classified employee in the Boise School District for the ELL department. She will begin her student teaching in January 2012 at Turnagain Elementary in a 3/4 combo class.
Gail is a rhetorician, former Broadcast Journalist for the United States Army, and founder and co-director of LiteRAte (a writer's forum in Anchorage, AK). She scheduled to do her Student Teaching in the Spring of 2012.

Thomas focused on connections outside of the primary source document, including NCLB. On multiple occasions he has been caught doing the right thing even when no one was looking.
